Jamie Emmanuel is an editor with a Bachelor of Film and Media Production from Humber College. Through her internship with Rooster Post Production she assisted on commercials and internal videos for brands such as Canada Post, KFC, and Bayer.
As an events assistant for Humber’s LGBTQ+ Resource Centre she has helped cultivate a safe space for her black, queer peers in her final few years of college. She hopes to continue this work throughout her career in the film industry.
She takes pride in her academic work as editor on films such as “Dolor” (2022), “The Haunting of a Ghost” (2023), and “Second Shot” (2023). She also edited Wendy Crewson’s vignette for Canada’s Walk of Fame with NBCUniversal’s first rendition of their Future Storytellers Project.
